Students’ perceptions of the learning environment at a medical school in Korea: comparisons of the most recent 4 years’ results using the Dundee Ready Education Environment Measure (DREEM)

Background: The learning environment is an essential factor influencing students’ educational processes and personal quality of life. purpose this study was to examine medical perceptions the at a school over most recent 4 years explore possibilities for reform revision based on results.Methods: Participating students were asked about their using Dundee Ready Education Environment Measure (DREEM) questionnaire, which distributed first-year, third-year, fourth-year students, representing each period. In total, 349 participated in study. Analysis variance conducted determine differences DREEM scores among periods.Results: There no statistically significant by year period, except teachers atmosphere. However, analysis class 2018 cohort four domains (except academic self-perceptions) total score found be significantly different.Conclusions: Students’ Kosin University College Medicine relatively high. increased from 2019 2022, 2021. Another result that basic science had highest perceptions, whereas clinical lowest perceptions.
